At the Cheese Barn (8/29/2018)
Hello people,
Ashland
is very different from Westerville. While Ashland itself is a small
town, the area we cover is much, MUCH larger than both of my previous
areas. It's almost much more rural than any place I've lived. It's
pretty cool!
Today we visited Grandpa's Cheesebarn. That is all. (Haha. Pictures below.)
Several
days ago a great person to teach was literally handed to us on a silver
platter. A guy named Dillan walked up to us, started asking us genuine,
honest questions, asked for our number, and accepted a pamphlet. Wow.
And then the next day he actually texted us and asked us to come over
THAT DAY. WOW! So we did, and we had a really great Restoration lesson
wherein he agreed to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. Pray for
Dillan to receive a witness from the Spirit. Hopefully we meet with him
again soon.
Also Elder
Miller is at the end of his mission this transfer so...I am killing off
yet another missionary. This will be my third. And it also means that I
will have had 7 different companions in 7 transfers. That's just nuts.
When I finally have to stick with a guy for more than a single transfer,
it's gonna be pretty weird.
Love,
Elder Gallagher
