6 Months (7/10)

Hi guys,

As of a week ago I've been out 6 months. I forgot to mention that in my last email. Oops. But that's pretty cool. Doesn't feel like 6 months.

Elder Henrie leaves me tomorrow! It's been a good transfer though. We've pushed ourselves and worked hard. Met many new people and helped as many as we could. I will find out who my new companion is tomorrow I think. (P-day should be back to Wednesdays next week.) We do have a solid person on date for baptism now though! A 10-year-old from a part-member family named Addy. Looking forward to that in a few weeks.

Highlights from the week: exchanges with the Nepali elders where I was mostly-useless but fascinated by the culture, having a video call with a drunk and atypically-open Michael, and meeting and giving a priesthood blessing to a non-practicing Arab Muslim man who recently lost his wife.

Interested in seeing what will happen next. I'll keep you all updated...

Love,
Elder Gallagher

P.S. The last couple of district photos, and a throwback to over three months ago in Las Vegas with a certain elder:
